Lands' End views settlement talks as 'premature' in Delta uniform lawsuit

Lands’ End Inc. is likely to ask for dismissal of at least some claims in a lawsuit over uniforms it created for Delta Air Lines Inc. The Dodgeville-based retailer of casual apparel and uniforms was sued in May by two flight attendants over the “Passport Plum” uniforms designed by Zac Posen. In their complaint, plaintiffs Monica DeCrescentis and Gwyneth Gilbert allege the uniforms caused a slew of problems, including skin rashes, headaches, fatigue, breathing difficulties, hair loss and nausea. DeCrescentis and Gilbert allege negligence, design defect, manufacturing defect and failure to warn, among other claims.
