FRANKLIN, N.C. (AP) _ Entegra Financial Corp. (ENFC) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter net income of $3.7 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.
The bank, based in Franklin, North Carolina, said it had earnings of 54 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 60 cents per share.
The holding company for Macon Bank posted revenue of $17.8 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $13.6 million, which topped Street forecasts.
For the year, the company reported profit of $13.9 million, or $1.99 per share. Revenue was reported as $55.3 million.
Entegra shares have increased 6 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $22.02, a decrease of 24 percent in the last 12 months.
