General Motors (GM) Dips More Than Broader Markets: What You Should Know

In the latest trading session, General Motors (GM) closed at $39.56, marking a -0.38% move from the previous day. This move lagged the S&P 500's daily loss of 0.06%. Elsewhere, the Dow lost 0.1%, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq lost 0.1%.

Coming into today, shares of the automaker had gained 4.42% in the past month. In that same time, the Auto-Tires-Trucks sector gained 4.17%, while the S&P 500 gained 4.3%.
