Kanye West shows pictures to Donald Trump during Oval Office visit - and accidentally reveals iPhone passcode

Kanye West has revealed that his iPhone passcode is 000000 during a meeting with Donald Trump in which he said wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat made him feel like Superman.

While unlocking his phone to show the president images of the “iPlane 1”, a hydrogen-powered plane which he said should replace Air Force 1, the rapper inadvertently revealed its code to the world’s media.

The code is likely to be the weakest possible passcode because it would be the first one tried by anyone attempting to unlock the phone. It would also prompt a warning from Apple if a user attempted to install it.

The star also appears not to use Face ID, a feature of newer iPhones which allows a user to unlock a phone by simply holding it in front of their face.

In a wide-ranging conversation which covered manufacturing in America, Mr Trump’s presidential campaign, and prison reform, the 41-year-old musician also showed the president several images of the plane.

“I bought a gif with me right here,” he told the president, while unlocking his phone.

“This right here is the iPlane 1. It’s a hydrogen-powered airplane, and this is what our President should be flying in,” he said, handing the phone to Jared Kushner, the president’s son-in-law.

“We’re going to have Apple, an American company, work on this plane,” West added.

The image, which is a concept by a Detroit-based designer, appeared to have been sent to him via text message several times.

He also talked about the feeling of wearing Mr Trump’s red ‘Make America Great Again’ cap and about how the president’s 2016 campaign compared to that of Hillary Clinton.

He said his parents’ separation had led to a lack of “male energy” in his childhood home.

He said: “I love Hillary, I love everyone, right? But the campaign ‘I’m with her’ just didn’t make me feel as a guy, that didn’t get to see my dad all the time, like a guy that could play catch with his son.

"There was something about when I put this hat on it made me feel like Superman,” he added. "That’s my favourite superhero and you made a superman cape for me."

He went on to criticise “liberals” and sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live, which frequently mocks Mr Trump.

“If he don’t look good, we don’t look good. This is our President,” he said.

“He has to be the freshest, the flyest, the flyest planes, the best factories. And we have to make our core be empowered, we have to bring jobs into America.”

He added that importing goods from China was “cheating on our country”.

“We’re putting people in positions to have to do illegal things, to end up in the cheapest factory ever, the prison system."
