This article aims to highlight some of the best NBA DFS Plays at every position for your FanDuel and DraftKings lineups. Keep in mind that the following player write-ups were constructed earlier in the day, and sometimes injury/rest situations can alter the fantasy landscape. Monitoring our NBA News & Headlines Feed throughout the day will keep you in the loop while giving you the subsequent DFS consequences of each information piece.
Take note that we are looking at the main playoff slate starting at 3:00 ET.
Ricky Rubio – Utah (vs Houston)
The Rockets have made it clear that they’ll let Rubio get his looks as long as Donovan Mitchell doesn't get his. That has resulted in Rubio posting 72 fantasy points through the first two games of this series compared to just 46 for Mitchell. I’m expecting that to be the strategy again tonight, and Rubio should be heavily involved to post another respectable line. Go ahead and give him a strong look through all formats on both FanDuel and DraftKings.
Gary Harris – Denver (at San Antonio)
I’m going cheap at the shooting guard position, where Gary Harris , Eric Gordon , and Luke Kennard all make sense as fine bargain choices. Harris is my favorite of that group, getting back to his full workload in the playoffs. That has translated to a 30 FPPG average over 34 minutes through the first two games of this series. Consider that a solid expectation moving forward.
Giannis Antetokounmpo – Milwaukee (at Detroit)
The small forward position is a mess (again), which seems to be the theme of these playoff slates. For that reason, Giannis Antetokounmpo becomes one of the best all-around DFS options on the board. He’s averaging 50 FPPG through the first two games in this series, and that could rise (alongside his playing time) if the Pistons are more competitive at home today.
Tobias Harris – Philadelphia (at Brooklyn)
Joel Embiid didn’t play last game, and Harris went off for 53 fantasy points through 36 minutes. That’s not a coincidence, as Brooklyn has been terrible against opposing frontcourts over the second half of the season. Put that alongside an expanded role, and Tobias was able to strike fantasy gold. Expect more of the same this afternoon with Embiid doubtful to play. Go ahead and make Harris a cornerstone priority pick through all DFS formats.
Also Consider: Paul Millsap , PJ Tucker
Boban Marjanovic – Philadelphia (at Brooklyn)
As mentioned in the previous write-up, Embiid is doubtful for this game. Also discussed in that paragraph was Brooklyn’s susceptibility to opposing frontcourts. Boban should get in on the fun with a 20-minute role against a Nets team that ranks 26 th in defensive efficiency to centers. The 7’3” Serbian is averaging 28 FPPG in this series, and that represents solid value on his mid-range price. It doesn't hurt that he's a fun guy to root for.
