BEACHWOOD, Ohio (AP) _ Omnova Solutions Inc. (OMN) on Wednesday reported a fiscal first-quarter loss of $4.6 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
On a per-share basis, the Beachwood, Ohio-based company said it had a loss of 10 cents. Losses, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 6 cents per share.
The chemical maker posted revenue of $168.9 million in the period.
Omnova shares have dropped slightly since the beginning of the year. The stock has decreased 31 percent in the last 12 months.
